Hi! My name is Shaoxiong Zheng (郑少雄) and I go by Dennis. I am now a master student in Statistics at UChicago. Prior to that, I studied Statistics and Finance with First Class Honors from the University of Hong Kong. I am curious how statistical methods can help human beings make decisions in this world of uncertainty, and I have co-authored a book to share my thinking. In particular, my interest focuses on developing machine learning algorithms for graph-structured data, with applications in social networks, recommender systems, and other domains.
